It is quite the long story, but basically there was a club called the Cambridge Supper Club (CSC) that spent an inordinate amount of time watching the original Perry Mason TV series. This led to an ongoing development of Perry based thought, ideas and ways of speaking.

We were not alone in our love and fascination and to prove it I kept these promos from Southern California's TV station KDOC, which still shows the old Perry's twice a day.
